About

Donna has always put Hampshire first.

Born and raised in Hampshire, Donna Jones has spent her entire life working with local people to get things done.

At 28 years old Donna became Britain’s youngest magistrate, helping to take criminals off our streets and make local families safer.

Backed by this record, Donna stood for council and later became leader of Portsmouth council. By working together with local councillors and residents, Donna helped to bring new investment to Hampshire.

Police numbers up. Crime down.
Donna’s record as Police and Crime Commissioner.

In 2021, with the support of local people, Donna stood to be Hampshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

Donna promised to recruit more police, reopen police stations, and make local people safer.

And Hampshire backed her.

Donna won every area in Hampshire, securing nearly 70% of the total vote. And she used her support to get the job done.

By working with government and local officials, Donna recruited an extra 815 police officers for Hampshire, reopened 8 police stations and front counters, and brought crime down by 11%.

While crime in other parts of the country was rising and police stations were being shut, Donna bucked national trends.

Because when she makes a promise, she delivers it.

About

Fixing infrastructure. Investing in jobs. Putting Hampshire first.
Donna's plan for mayor.

Hampshire’s first ever mayor will manage a budget of over a billion pounds. They’ll be in charge of a new local mayoral tax. They’ll be responsible for securing new investment in infrastructure and jobs. And they’ll set priorities for local policing.

In other words, our new mayor will be responsible for everything that matters to us locally — from securing new jobs and investment to keeping our streets safe and our taxes low.

Donna is the only candidate with a record of promises kept, the experience to manage big budgets, and the ability to work with local people to get stuff done.
